Crow: Part 2 Has been completed and will be selling at all our conventions from now on! We're also expecting another comic, Tomosagashi, to come out, possibly in spring '08

Here's our updated convention schedule, though it may be changed again. We've added Acen to our list and unfortunately had to give up on Otakon, AX and Anime Boston, however we may add others along the way.

Welcome!
This is your host, Tomaki (a.k.a. Akamaki or Sam).
We're just starting out on DA so please take good care of us!

MANGACANDY, L.L.C. was officially formed on April 21, 2006 by Angela Liu. We are a group that produces original stories drawn by amateur artists that are influenced by Japanese-styled comics. The company was established with the goal of printing stories created by budding manga artists and having them reach readers who otherwise would never have a chance to read them. Although the styles and types of stories vary from artist to artist, each comic is drawn lovingly by it's creator with hopes of being read. We are a (very) small group right now, but we hope that giving more amateur artists a chance to shine will grow this group into something great.

That being said, obviously our group is here on DA to increase our exposure and to hopefully stumble upon some talented hopefuls. We are always looking for new amateur comic artists so if you think you have a good idea and are ready to try it out, try contacting us! Since we are only starting out we cannot accept a lot of people yet, but we're growing all the time! And as time goes by we hope to support more and more artists! Even if you're not interested in becoming an official artist, please take a look at our art and consider supporting us by buying comics or other merchandise from our store! ^^

We like to travel around to as many conventions as we can (mostly in the midwestern area but we get around to some big ones too.) We have a lot of fun at our artist tables because we like to talk to everyone so please feel free to come and meet us!
